On October 7-14, 2023, our youth, and accompanying adults, are headed to the Dominican Republic. We will be partnering with a ministry called MIVA, an outreach to children and families in this community. MIVA has established a local K-8 Christian school called CERINFA. This school is making a tangible difference in the lives of the students and their families.
We will be working and staying in the school. We have the opportunity to work with the students and help teach English, host a VBS, teach computer skills, do a building project, and lead worship at the church.
The team will begin fundraising in April and trip training in August.
The cost is $1,500 for each participant. Keep an eye out for our many fundraisers and be praying about how to support our team. God may be directing you to give, to be a prayer partner, or to go on this trip with us.
