MasterPeace Productions is FBCScottsdale’s theater ministry, offering faith-filled, family-friendly performances that inspire, delight, and highlight God-given talents. Through musicals, plays, and original productions, we give kids and adults the chance to explore creativity, build confidence, and share the joy of storytelling on stage.

Thanks to the continued support from out amazing church community, last year our theater ministry, in partnership with our Children’s Ministry, brought you New Frontier and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

This year we are excited to produce three productions, and we’d love to tell you about them!

Students in Grades K–8

Description:

Based on the classic children’s novel by L. Frank Baum, this delightful play will tell the story of Dorothy Gale as she lands in the wonderful world of Oz. As she tries to find her way back home she’ll meet new friends, go up against an evil witch, and learn that there really is no place like home!

Based on the classic story by Charles Dickens, this beloved holiday tale follows Ebenezer Scrooge on a magical journey through past, present, and future. This timeless story reminds audiences of the power of generosity, redemption, and choosing kindness.

Peter Townsend has been a part of FBC Scottsdale since infancy. Born to two theater directors and raised on stage, he is no stranger to the joys and challenges of live theater. A professional children’s theater director since 2016, Peter delights in combining his love of working with kids, his passion for theater, and his devotion to Christ in every production.
