2023 Sunday Morning Class Offerings

From Darla Holmes, Director of Children’s Ministries and Grow Groups

As we begin a new year, we are praying for you to continue your growth in your faith and knowledge of our Lord Jesus. Romans 10:14 states “But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them?” We invite you to join us as we learn together how to be that one that shares the true meaning of our Lord. This year we have an opportunity to grow, learn, seek, and go with others. Let’s start the journey together!

Sunday mornings our Campus Groups begin at 9:15. Our Youth and Children’s programs start at 9:00 so you can bring the whole family.

This class offers a unique opportunity to delve into the personal history of the prophet Jeremiah and study the book of Jeremiah in depth with the Desert Disciples/Koinonia group led by Brad Mannix. As one of the major prophets in the Old Testament, Jeremiah's teachings and prophecies are highly influential and continue to be studied and discussed today. Everyone is welcome to join this class and learn more about this important figure in the Bible.

"The Gospel on the Ground" with Carmen Trust in "C2" or the "Fireside Room" from 9:15-10:15 am:

Come and join Carmen Trust as she leads a class on the early church in the book of Acts, discussing how the kingdom of God is always moving and looking outward to bring meaning and joy to the world.

The class will follow the book of the same name written by Kristi McLelland and will examine the life of the early church, exploring how the Gospel was spread and the impact it had on those who encountered it. This is sure to be an enriching and thought-provoking experience for all who join.

This class is a great opportunity for those who have already watched the first two seasons to learn more about the show and have an engaging discussion about it with others.
